Four employees of the Market Committee were allegedly caught consuming liquor while on duty at the office in Sector 26.
Acting on a tip-off, Market Committee Administrator and SDM (Central) Khushpreet Kaur recently conducted a raid at the temporary office of the committee at Satsang Bhawan and caught four employees allegedly consuming liquor. The employees underwent medical examination at the Government Multi-Speciality Hospital in Sector 16.
The SDM said action would be taken against the four employees after receiving their medical report.
