RANAU: Four people cheated death when their vehicle collided with a lorry at Kg Segindai Baru, near here, on Friday.
Ranau Fire and Rescue Department Chief Ridwan Mohd Taib said a six-member team led by operations commander Newmond Tiada rushed to the location after receiving a call on the 6.18pm incident.
He said the accident involved a 10-tonne lorry and a Perodua Bezza, and all four victims managed to get out of the Bezza on their own without any serious injuries.
“The operation ended at 7.16pm after making sure there was no more danger,” he said.
Ridwan reminded all motorists to be extra careful when driving across the district, especially on narrow and bending village roads.
