- Four-year-old Jessica Macrae from Bearsden underwent critical surgery at Glasgow's Royal Hospital for Children after a brain tumour was discovered.
- Her parents noticed worrying changes, including headaches, sickness and balance issues, leading to the diagnosis of a mass at the back of her brain.
- Following surgery, Jessica faced severe challenges, unable to move, speak, or eat, necessitating a feeding tube and full assistance.
- She then underwent an intensive 12-week neuro-rehabilitation programme, including daily physiotherapy, to regain basic motor skills and speech.
- Jessica has made a remarkable recovery, now able to speak, eat independently and walk with improved stability, with her parents expressing immense gratitude to the medical teams.
