Tottenham face a massive payout after sacking manager Mauricio Pochettino and his staff.

The Mirror says Pochettino has been relieved of his duties after five-and-a-half years in charge.

His assistant Jesus Perez, and coaches Miguel D'Agostino and Antoni Jimenez have also left the club.

The manager penned a new five-year contract in May 2018 and it was initially claimed that it would cost chairman Levy around 12.5million to sack him. However it has now emerged that Levy has had to pay big money to part with Pochettino and his staff, all of whom signed new five-year contracts along with the now axed boss.

That number could be as much as the 19.6million that Manchester United paid to dismiss Jose Mourinho and his staff in December 2018.
