Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana has withdrawn from France duty during this international break.
The centre-half has only recently returned to full fitness, with the 22-year-old playing a lot more for the Blues in recent weeks.
However, he has an injury that will keep him out of action for France's upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Monaco's Axel Disasi and OGC Nice's Jean-Clair Todibo have been called up to replace Fofana and William Saliba of Arsenal, per the French team's official Twitter page.
"Wes Fofana had to come off with fatigue, as he has had a long time out," his club manager Graham Potter explained at the weekend.
"He was feeling his hamstring. Wes was fantastic and defended well."
