Frasco takes oath as adviser on sustainable communities

MANILA, Philippines- Former Tourism secretary Christina Frasco took her oath as Presidential Adviser for Sustainable and Resilient Communities, Malacañang said Wednesday.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. administered the oath of office of Frasco in a ceremony in Malacañang. 

Prior to her new appointment, Frasco served as Tourism secretary from June 30, 2022 to March 12, 2026.

Frasco was the former mayor of Liloan, Cebu and spokesman for Vice President Sara Duterte. 

She is the daughter of then-Cebu governor Gwendolyn Garcia, who backed Marcos presidential bid together with her One Cebu party.
