KENINGAU: Heavy machinery for drainage works is now available in Kampung Toboh Baru.
Nearly two kilometres of paddy field drainage has been built to improve the irrigation system serving the agricultural area.
The service is provided free to local farmers, particularly for drainage works requiring heavy machinery and considerable operating costs.
The availability of the community service machinery therefore provides a practical solution, allowing necessary maintenance work to be carried out without farmers having to bear the full cost of hiring heavy equipment.
The ongoing work at Toboh Baru is expected to improve water flow, facilitate field management and provide greater convenience for farmers as they continue their agricultural activities.
