French football is stunned by Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba's doping failure.
Pogba's counter-analysis of his original failed test has confirmed the result, so leaving the France World Cup winner facing a ban of up to four years.
The former Manchester United midfielder now faces a hearing over the length of his suspension.
Ex-PSG star Jerome Rothen said: "I feel like it's all over. When things like this happen to us, it doesn't matter why or how... I feel sad for him and for French football, because we are losing a great player.
"But, unfortunately, I don't see him recovering after this."
Arsenal hero Emmanuel Petit also said: "I'm very sad about his extra-sporting life. At United it was the beginning of the end. He's sinking. As far as doping is concerned, I wish him the best of luck. Is it possible to dope without knowing it? When you play at a very high level, you know all the safeguards we have around us.
"When we are given something, we have to ask what it is. He has a share of responsibility. That reduces the empathy I can have for him. It's a shame it had to end like this."
