On 7 August 2017, Park officially debuted as a member of Wanna One, a K-pop boy band formed with Produce 101 season 2’s top-ranking trainees. The group released their debut EP 1×1=1 (To Be One) on 8 August 2017 and garnered global acclaim for their powerful vocals.
