The Future Skills for All (FS4A) programme is changing the way children with disabilities experience education in Malaysia. Since July 2024, more than 150 teachers from 134 disability-inclusive schools have been trained under its FS4A Inclusivity Scale-Up initiative, reaching over 10,000 children and ensuring they aren’t left behind in Malaysia’s digital transformation journey.

Led by the Ministry of Education (MOE) through the Special Education Division (BPKhas) with support from the Educational Planning and Research Division (EPRD), the programme is powered by a strong coalition of partners, including UNICEF Malaysia, CelcomDigi Berhad, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), and is implemented by Arus Academy.

Teachers benefit from a blend of online portals, offline kits, and interactive dashboards designed to deliver gamified and engaging STEM lessons as a form of adapted content tailored for students with varying disabilities, while also documenting their practices and reflecting on challenges to further improve programme delivery.

Since its launch in 2020, FS4A has grown into a vital digital learning platform through MOE’s DELIMa system, amassing over 2 million page views and more than 320,000 users nationwide. It highlights the rising demand for digital education and the importance of equipping both educators and students with future-ready skills.

As Malaysia’s digital landscape continues to evolve, FS4A’s expansion signals a key milestone in making inclusive, quality education accessible to every child. With MOE and its partners committed to broadening its reach, more schools and teachers will be empowered to embrace inclusive digital learning practices that prepare all students for the future.
