Kota Kinabalu: Despite successive prime ministers and their federal governments, serious attention to Sabah’s Malaysia Agreement entitlement claims on genuine autonomy and 40 per cent of tax receipt revenue remain unfulfilled.

“I sense your frustration,” said talk-show host Haris Ibrahim, to his guest Dr Johan Samad, who warned of federal policies and implementation that are driving Sabah and Sarawak closer to Indonesia’s new capital on Borneo Island and further away from the ambit of Kuala Lumpur, now Putrajaya across the vast expense of the South China Sea.
