Fulham boss Marco Silva admits Joao Palhinha is unlikely to make the first games of the season.
Palhinha suffered a dislocated shoulder injury in preseason.
Silva said: "I think it will be difficult for Palhinha to be in the first round of the Premier League.
"We have to evaluate week by week. He is improving, but he is not working on the pitch yet, he has only been doing gymnastics.
"Let's see if he starts training next week."
