Fulham boss Marco Silva admits defeat to Tottenham was tough to take.
Harry Kane struck the only goal of the game at Craven Cottage on Monday night.
Silva said, "Tough result for us. Overall, we probably deserved a result that we didn't deserve. It was a very good first 43 minutes and I think we lost a little bit of control in the last three or four minutes when they scored the goal. We lost our organisation and even though we had the chance to counter-attack, we lost the ball too quickly.
"The three or four minutes we lost control, they punish us. I said to the players before the match that the small details will decide the match and it did. We were clearly the best team in the opening 40 minutes and we controlled the game. We didn't give Tottenham a chance to counter-attack when you know they are dangerous and can punish you. We had a lot of energy, the desire and having some quality in different moments.
"We had two chances that we should have scored. They punished us with a great moment from Harry Kane and I think we should have set ourselves up in a different position."
