Fulham boss Marco Silva expects a battle at Everton on Tuesday night in their Carabao Cup quarterfinal.
The Cottagers go to Everton on the back of a frustrating defeat to Newcastle.
Silva said: "It's a tough game.
"They have shown resilience and you can see they click together with the fans, team and staff.
"We know when this happens at a club like Everton they are strong, it's not a surprise to me.
"They have good players and an experienced manager. Knowing what he demands from his players, it shows they are all together and that creates a strong connection between everyone at that football club.
"They are in a good moment like we are too."
On the Toon defeat, he also said of Raul Jimenez's dismissal: "We are seeing right now that any time they call the referee to the screen, more than 95% of decisions are already made from VAR.
"It's very difficult now to see a referee, maybe one or two examples, that they go against the VAR.
"VAR tries to convince them that has to be the decision. In some moments I believe the referee should stick with his own decision.
"Some other managers have also spoken about this as well. It was a harsh decision."
