Fulham boss Marco Silva has slammed the Premier League scheduling.
Silva said: "We are in a great position in the table but for me the goals are still at the same level. We are ambitious but you have to be realistic. The next team we are going to play is a top, top side.
"It will be difficult for us because I almost don't have time to prepare for the game. It isn't fair to us to start that game at 2pm on Sunday.
"The way they scheduled the Chelsea game for a Thursday night is difficult to understand. After such a busy schedule, after the World Cup playing almost a game every three days, they decided to put our game against Chelsea on a Thursday night.
"You have to take care of the players if you want to see good games and to have them in the best physical conditions. With this time between both games, you are not taking care of the players. It's really dangerous.
"It's not fair for us to have so different time than Newcastle to prepare."
