Fulham boss Marco Silva admits they were flat for defeat at Aston Villa.

Tyrone Mings scored the winner with a glancing header from captain John McGinn's inswinging corner midway through the first-half.

Silva later said, "We didn't perform at our level. Our first half was not good enough. We did not perform at our standards. Some were too shy and not aggressive enough with the ball like we should be.

"We didn't make them do enough defensively and we conceded a sloppy goal.

"The second half was different and at least we were much more aggressive on and off the ball."
