Newly promoted Fulham are ready to complete the signing of Joao Palhinha from Sporting CP.
The midfielder, who is 26, was wanted by several top clubs around Europe this summer.
Manchester United were strongly linked with a move for Palhinha earlier in the transfer window.
According to The Sun, Fulham are ready to agree a fee of £20 million to get the signing over the line.
Palhinha will join Portuguese teammates Ruben Neves and possibly Joao Moutinho in the Wolves midifeld next season.
If the deal is done, the source states that Palhinha will sign a five-year contract.
