Kota Kinabalu: The special allocation included in Electricity Supply Bill 2024 tabled in the State Assembly, here, recently, will guarantee that Sabah would not be totally left out from any infrastructure development plan of electricity supply in the State.
Tanjong Kapor Assemblyman Ben Chong Chen Bin, who supported the Bill, said inclusion of such funding would also ensure especially critical projects under the plan identified to be realised and further improve power supply in Sabah.
He said implementation of the Bill would also make sure Sabah’s electricity supply connection projects under 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP) continued by the Sabah Electricity Supply Special Project Team (PPKBES).
