- The plane was forced to stop in Milan to refuel and replace crew members who were at risk of exceeding their legal working hours.
- Passengers arrived in Milan shortly after 2pm local time and faced further delays until 8.30pm while waiting for a replacement crew to take over.
- EasyJet apologised for the disruption and issued food vouchers, but frustrated holidaymakers strongly criticised the airline over poor communication and lost holiday time.
