An unforeseen occurrence occurred during the Israel vs. Mali football match at the Olympics in Paris.
In a video circulating online, a Brazilian fan was giving an interview about the recent football match- completely normal.
However, what happens after is definitely not.
An Israeli fan approached the Brazilian fan who was being interviewed about the game. Interrupting the interview, the Israeli fan declared, "No politics here!"
The Brazilian fan had not brought up politics when talking about the football game.
In fact, he even looked at the man saying “Israel is not bad”, in reference to the football match.
The Israeli fan persisted in inciting him in spite of this.
In response, he said, "I wasn't talking about politics, just football."
However, the Israeli fan simply would not stop pushing the statement, “No politics here!”
The Brazilian fan finally yelled, "Free, free Palestine!" under duress.
The Israeli supporter became even more enraged by this statement, and he eventually started yelling obscenities at the Brazilian fan.
“Fxxk you! Fxxk you!” the Israeli fan yelled back in anger.
Though no political comment was made, the man’s anger only grew. A woman beside him also yelled the same towards the Brazilian fan as they walked away.
