Often hailed as the ‘King of K-pop,’ G-Dragon is set to make a return to Kuala Lumpur this July as part of his Übermensch 2025 World Tour. The BigBang leader will hold two back-to-back shows at the Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil on 19 and 20 July 2025.
G-Dragon to stage a two-night concert in Kuala Lumpur in July 2025

Rumours of rapper’s world tour had been swirling since last year, especially after BigBang’s Daesung hinted at it during Taeyang’s concert in Seoul. He revealed that G-Dragon’s concert would take place in March and suggested that he, too, might hold his first solo show soon. The Korea Herald later confirmed that G-Dragon had personally announced his first solo concert in nearly eight years, set to take place in Seoul.
His Kuala Lumpur tour stop was officially confirmed through an Instagram account, @fanplusonedotcom, believed to be an artist-led fan page dedicated to engaging with and updating fans.
G-Dragon’s influence in K-pop is legendary, to say the least. Renowned for his trendsetting fashion, chart-topping solo music, and a career filled with both milestones and controversies, he remains one of the most iconic figures in the industry. After taking a step back from the spotlight for a few years, he made a massive return with his hit single Power, a memorable MAMA Awards 2024 reunion with BigBang, and his appearance on the variety show Good Day.
Although ticket prices and additional details have yet to be announced, demand is expected to be overwhelming. The rapper last performed in Malaysia back in 2017 as part of his Act III: M.O.T.T.E World Tour at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.
