Kota Kinabalu: The “Gerakan Kuasa Rakyat Malaysia” (G57) machinery throughout Sabah has been launched to assist and ensure the victory of Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) and Barisan Nasional (BN) candidates in the 15th General Election (GE15).
Its Chairman Datuk Zulkarnain Mahdar said he has ordered all machinery to be activated, adding the machinery will focus only on the State of Sabah considering the lack of volunteers.
“The multimedia unit, including the propaganda unit, cybertrooper and speaker unit, has extensive experience in helping GRS and BN in the previous 16th Sabah State Election.
“Therefore, G57’s service this time will certainly be able to contribute to the number of voters to the two coalition parties of the Sabah Government this time,” he said in a statement.
Zulkarnain said its main rivals are Parti Warisan (Warisan) and Pakatan Harapan (PH), hence the machinery’s main goal is to overthrow candidates from the rival parties.
“The GRS-BN Government’s good record of achievements in their two-year administration in Sabah, compared to Warisan, will also make it easier for the election machinery to campaign.
“Therefore, the goal for GRS and BN to win big in Sabah this time is not rhetoric, rather a fact that can be achieved,” he said.
