KOTA KINABALU: The Api-Api division of Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) has voiced full support for a proposal to restructure the party’s divisions, describing it as a strategic move to strengthen the party’s organisation and improve administrative efficiency.
Division Chief Datuk Faisyal Diego said the proposal to reduce the number of party divisions from 73 to 25 would help streamline leadership coordination and strengthen grassroots operations.
“The proposal to restructure the divisions from 73 to 25 is a strategic step that will strengthen the party’s organisational structure and improve the effectiveness of our work at the grassroots level,” he said.
He said the Api-Api division, which covers the Kota Kinabalu area, unanimously supported the proposal during its divisional meeting and breaking-of-fast event on Monday.
Faisyal also expressed the division’s full support for Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, saying the state leadership remains committed to political stability, economic development and the well-being of the people.
