Kota Kinabalu: Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) has announced the appointment of 25 new pro tem division heads following a restructuring exercise aligned with parliamentary constituencies.
The party stated the restructuring aims to strengthen its organisational structure and empower leadership at the division level through a mix of experienced leaders, youth figures, and new faces.
The selections were made based on leadership capability, service track records, grassroots acceptance, and the ability to effectively mobilise the organisation across all 25 parliamentary constituencies.
Gagasan Rakyat President Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor said the strength of an organisation relies on teamwork and the leadership's ability to translate the party's agenda into meaningful public service.
The appointees include Hajiji for Tuaran, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun for Ranau, Datuk Faisyal Diego for Kota Kinabalu, and Datuk Ceasar Mandela Malakun for Penampang.
