KOTA KINABALU: Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) Tanjung Aru took the initiative to repair a wooden bridge at the Kampung Tanjung Aru Lama jetty that was damaged by heavy rain.
PGRS committee member Dr Ritchie Jay Cheng said the repair, done through a community gotong-royong, aimed to ensure the safety of villagers who use the bridge daily.
He personally contributed materials like wood and planks to speed up the repairs, following urgent requests from the residents.
