Conor Gallagher was delighted being involved for Chelsea's win at Fulham.
The midfielder captained the Blues to a 2-0 win on Monday night.
Gallagher beamed: "It's obviously a really proud moment and time for me to captain the club the few times I have.
"You know how much it means to me and how much I want to do well at Chelsea. I have supported them my whole life and to captain them is amazing.
"Hopefully I can continue to do that.
"I have tried to be more disciplined and a leader on and off the pitch as well. We are trying our best to play well together and understand each others game."
