Game of Thrones star Conleth Hill joins cast for BBC Peaky Blinders spin-off

  • Conleth Hill, known for his role in Game of Thrones, is set to join the cast of the highly anticipated Peaky Blinders spin-off series.
  • The new drama is set in 1950s Birmingham, and will explore the Shelby family's lives post-Second World War.
  • Hill will portray Clemmy Keeler, the formidable patriarch of a rival gangster family, poised to challenge the Peaky Blinders' ambitions.
  • Jamie Bell and Charlie Heaton are slated to star as Duke and Charles Shelby, respectively, while Cal O’Driscoll joins as Clemmy’s son, Aidan Keeler, and Daniel Monks takes on the character of Detective Inspector Bell.
  • The series, which is currently being filmed at Digbeth Loc. Studios in Birmingham and surrounding areas, is commissioned for two runs of six hour-long episodes. It will premiere on BBC iPlayer and BBC One in the UK, and on Netflix globally.
