
- Marc Kane, a 43-year-old drug dealer from Gorleston, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for his role in an organised crime group distributing cocaine in the Great Yarmouth area.
- During a police operation on 1 August 2024, Kane attempted to evade capture by jumping over fences in a "Hot Fuzz-style" getaway, but was found hiding in a nearby shed.
- The operation at a house on John Road in Gorleston led to the discovery of 10 kilos of high-purity cocaine, estimated to have a street value of £1 million.
- Kane pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine and was sentenced on Friday, 8 May.
- Six other members of the crime group were also jailed after admitting their involvement in the conspiracy to supply cocaine.
