Las Palmas coach Javi Garcia Pimienta was proud of his players in defeat to Barcelona.
Barca won 1-0 thanks Raphinha's lone strike. Las Palmas saw Alvaro Valles sent off on 24 minutes.
Pimienta said: "It was a shame. We came with the intention of playing good football and we had some chances at the beginning.
"But in the 24th minute the game changes completely. I take my hat off to these players, because we put on our overalls, we got together to defend and we didn't concede many chances.
"We always train with a game plan which is to have the ball in an associative way. We have had to play with one less player from the 25th minute, but I am very proud of the team because they have known how to suffer and have known how to compete.
"Not only that, in the last minutes of the game we had our chances of tying the game. The team's image has been very, very good."
