Garmin Cirqa smart ring news leak

Regulatory filings in Brazil, Indonesia, and China indicate that Garmin is preparing to enter the smart ring market. Registered under 10 model variants (A05124 through AA5124), the device is linked to the Garmin Cirqa family, likely representing 10 physical ring sizes.

Key Leaked Details so far:

  • 10 Ring Sizes: Filings from Brazil’s ANATEL list 10 distinct codes, covering finger sizes 5 to 14 to match current smart ring companies such as Ringconn, Oura and Ultrahuman.

  • Essential Connectivity: Like most smart rings, the listings classify the device as a low-power Bluetooth tracker—omitting energy-draining Wi-Fi, cellular, or built-in GPS.

  • Launch Window: Regulatory activity typically precedes a official launch by two to three months. This points toward an October product announcement in time for holiday stocking, or a global debut at CES in January 2027

PriceShop Editorial Insights:

For Malaysian consumers, the biggest potential win here is Garmin’s typical business model: no monthly subscription fee.

Competitors like Oura require a monthly fee of around RM26/month on top of an expensive hardware purchase. Over three years, skipping that paywall saves you over RM900.

While a smart ring cannot replace a dedicated GPS sports watch for intense workouts; finger sensors excel at sleep and resting HRV tracking which also forms a big part of the health evaluation.

While local launch details remain unconfirmed, early industry estimates place the Garmin Cirqa Smart Ring between US$199 and US$249 (approximately RM850 to RM1,100), placing it noticeably below Oura’s hardware pricing.

Looking forward to more confirmed information as we are excited to get an established wearable player in the Smart Ring space.
