
MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Energy (DOE) on Monday said that fuel prices will be lowered this week as the global market reacted to recent developments in the Middle East.
It said diesel prices will drop by up to P4.30 per liter, gasoline prices by up to P4.70 per liter, and kerosene by up to P4.88 per liter.
The price adjustments will take effect on Tuesday, August 11.
Last week, diesel prices went down by up to P0.60 per liter, gasoline by up to P0.73 per liter, and kerosene by up to P2.09 per liter.
