This is my own research.

Thus far, the Hamas controlled Health Ministry has stated that over 18,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, 7000+ of which are children.

The Israeli Government and IDF have stated that they believe they have killed over 7000 Hamas terrorists. The maths is simple. That means at least 11,000 non-combatant Palestinian civilians have been killed, of which 7000+ were children.

7000+ children, 2/3rds of the non-combatant civilian casualties.

During the 8 months of London Blitz, across the whole of the UK, towns and cities were subjected to the German bomber raids which, over the course of eight months resulted in 43,500 deaths of innocent civilians. An estimated 18,688 civilians in London were killed during the whole of the Second World War, 0.23% of the population. 1.5 million were made homeless.

The figures speak for themselves.

In 9 weeks the IDF and Israeli Government have allowed 11,000 non-combatant Palestinian civilians to be killed, of which 7000+ were children.

The Fourth Geneva Convention only concerns protected civilians in occupied territory rather than the effects of hostilities, such as the strategic bombing during World War II. The Additional Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions (AP-1) finally prohibits all intentional attacks on "the civilian population and civilian objects." It also prohibits and defines "indiscriminate attacks" as "incidental loss of civilian life, injury to civilians, damage to civilian objects, or a combination thereof, which would be excessive in relation to the concrete and direct military advantage anticipated." This rule is referred to by scholars as the principle of proportionality.

Israel ratified the Geneva Conventions on July 6, 1951. Israel has not signed or ratified the 1907 Hague Regulations, but the Israeli High Court has found that the 1907 Hague Regulations are part of customary international law, and thus binding on all states, including those not party to the treaty.

The attacks on the Palestinian population in Gaza, specifically on the non-combatants, is a war crime as defined under the Geneva Convention, a crime against humanity.
