- A recent GB News programme, Alex Armstrong Tonight, has become the broadcast to receive the most direct complaints to Ofcom ever.
- During the 5 July episode, guest Caroline Farrow appeared to link the LGBTQ+ community to paedophilia while discussing Pride events.
- Her comments, made during a debate on whether Pride marches are suitable for children, drew widespread outrage from public figures, including RuPaul’s Drag Race UK alum Bimini.
- Broadcast regulator Ofcom received over 9,000 direct complaints regarding the programme between 7 and 13 July.
- Armstrong later addressed the controversy, saying that he fundamentally rejected the guest's comments and that they did not reflect his or the channel's views.
