Genoa coach Alberto Gilardino is confident of Radu Dragusin's commitment.
The Romania defender has been linked with Tottenham this week.
But Gilardino says: "Radu is an exemplary professional, as well as being a boy with great sporting discipline: these things can only help in such a moment.
Rumours and certain situations are certainly never good. I trust a lot in the players I have available: because I see them training every day, I see them in everyday life and I know them.
"I know what professionals they are. As long as they stay here, I know they will give 110%. I know that as long as they wear this shirt, they will do so with great dignity, determination and competitive ardor. I am sure.
