Genoa coach Alberto Gilardino is delighted with their start to the season.
Gilardino has shown Genoa will be competitive in Serie A this term.
He said: "The greatest satisfaction is having managed to enter the history of this club, all those who participated in last season's historic promotion.
"We had some players in the national team, we worked both from a technical-tactical and physical point of view.
"It allowed us to catch our breath for a few days before preparing for Napoli on Monday."
