SANDAKAN: ACP George Abd Rakman, formerly with IPK Sabah’s Integrity and Standards Compliance Department, is the new Sandakan District Police Chief, replacing ACP Ahsmon Bajah.
The role was briefly held by DSP Ramasamy A/l Kuppan for 52 days.
During the handover ceremony on Monday, witnessed by Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Jauteh Dikun, George expressed excitement about returning to Sandakan after last serving there in 2010.
