GEORGE TOWN: Gerakan revealed that Api-Api will be among the three seats it plans to contest in the coming Sabah state election.
Deputy President Oh Tong Keong told a press conference the party’s election team has identified potential candidates and will submit their names to the leadership for deliberation soon.
He also said Gerakan could not afford to sit out the Sabah polls, adding that “it is pointless to practise if you don’t contest in any matches”.
Api-Api, currently held by PKR’s Christina Liew for a fourth term, has 43.5pc Chinese voters and 40.1pc Sabah Bumiputeras.
