German Federation chief Andreas Rettig has stated Jurgen Klopp intends to take a year off when he steps down as Liverpool manager.

Klopp will leave the Reds post at the end of the season.

He has been linked with the Germany job after the Euros.

But Rettig told Focus: "There has been no contact. He has chosen to give himself a break, and therefore it has not been relevant to contact him.

"I don't know if we should maybe give him a few travel tips or advice on how to enjoy time off."
