Germany team manager Oliver Bierhoff admits Sadio Mane's arrival at Bayern Munich could be a problem for their World Cup preparations.
Mane left Liverpool for Bayern last week.
Bierhoff said, "It can be a problem, especially in a World Cup year, where there are too many top players in the squad, who all want and need playing minutes and demand to play.
"Bayern have great depth up front. I'm excited to see what happens. One has to assume that Sadio Mane, who is a top transfer, is set to start.
"Each player must be aware of this situation and decide for themselves what is best for their own situation and development."
At Bayern, Mane will compete for a place with Germany trio Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry and Thomas Müller.
