The former Rangers and Aston Villa manager took charge of Al-Ettifaq last week.
And The Sun says Gerrard has landed on his feet in Saudi Arabia, signing a deal worth 15.5m-a-year.
It marks the fourth highest salary in the world for a manager.
Only Diego Simeone (Atltico de Madrid, 30m), Pep Guardiola (Manchester City, 20m) and Jrgen Klopp (Liverpool, 16m) would be earning more than the ex-England international.
