Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey will not be joining up with the Ghana squad this week.
The 30-year-old is not fully fit and wants to concentrate on finding his best form at club level.
Partey has only managed to appear in 41 minutes of action since August due to muscle injuries.
The Ghanaian FA confirmed their decision in a statement on social media on Monday.
The FA stated that Partey and his coaches had come to an agreement on his condition.
He would remain in England and work on his conditioning with the hope of being fully fit soon.
