In reflection, I realized elite winning teams can operate to the very highest standards, at the very highest speeds. In sport and in business, speed often wins. The fastest leaders and the fastest teams in any discipline often win: just a bit of military history and we'll see this played out time and again. Speed is an energizer and a differentiator. One of the characteristics of an elite team is that they can deliver very high quality at very high speeds. They will use communication to make everybody and everything faster. I am now convinced speed whether of body or mind, can be used as an accelerator for growth.
