Giovani Lo Celso is delighted to have returned to Villarreal.
The Argentina midfielder has joined in a straight loan for the season from Tottenham.
Lo Celso said, “First of all, thank you for the effort and I am very happy to be here again. The wait was long, but it was worth it. The idea is to continue along the same lines as last season.
"As I said from the first day I felt very comfortable here, it is a competitive team and a great project. I see a strong team with big goals. I wanted to continue in the LaLiga and with Villarreal.
“I'm fine, working and eager to start, the adaptation has been and will be easier again. I'm fine".
“Obviously a long negotiation takes time, I appreciate the club's effort and I know it wasn't easy. I focused on work and being well. And now I'm where I want to be. Mine was to be well, I only thought about training and preparing myself. Now I'm here and I arrive at a nice moment for the team."
