TAWAU: Girl Guides Association Malaysia (PPPM) is one of the non-governmental organisations (NGOs) that is relevant at all times and currently has 75,000 members throughout the country, said Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Datuk Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan.
He said PPPM, which is also one of the popular uniformed units in schools, is now a member of the Malaysian Youth Council (MBM) and the Malaysian Women’s Organisation Council (NCWO).
Therefore, he hoped the association would continue to grow and excel in educating especially the girls of the district, in line with one of the basic methods emphasised in scouting, which is devotional service with the slogan “always ready”.
