Being a pet owner is a huge responsibility that most children do not know about.
Recently, a father in Jinan City, Shandong, China, has taken it upon himself to show his daughter the realities of owning a cat when she asked him for one.
In a viral video reposted on TikTok on 21 August, we can see a dad on all fours on a kitchen countertop.
He was maintaining eye contact with his daughter while pushing a full bowl off the counter which resulted in the contents spilling out on the floor.
After that, he proceeded to splash the water from a running faucet towards his daughter just like how a cat would do it.
The scene then changes and we see that the daughter is sitting on the floor next to the sofa. Her father is once again on all fours on the sofa and is yowling like a cat while arching his back.
If that wasn’t enough, he swatted the air a few times with his hands too while his daughter rolled her eyes in annoyance.

Well, we can definitely say that this portrayal of a cat was definitely spot on! We wonder if the girl still wants to get a cat after her father’s performance.
