Kota Kinabalu: The family of a 13-year-old girl has appealed for public assistance after she failed to return home following the end of the school day at SM Lok Yuk Likas on Monday.
In a Facebook post, Jaime Crystal said her niece, Gwen Mia, was dropped off at the school at about 5.50am on July 27 but was not at the school when her mother arrived to pick her up later that day despite checks with the school and her friends.
Jaime said Gwen Mia is about 155cm tall with long black frizzy hair and was last seen wearing a pinafore, white shoes and carrying a white bag with a floral pattern.
She also appealed to parents with dashboard camera footage recorded between 5.50am and 6.15am along the road opposite SK Lok Yuk Likas and SM Lok Yuk Likas to check for any recordings showing a red sedan that may assist in the search.
