Girona attacker Rodrigo Riquelme was happy to score against parent club Atletico Madrid yesterday.
The loanee struck in the 2-1 defeat at the Metropolitano.
Riquelme later said: "We knew it was going to be a difficult game. Atleti has great players. We have fought, we have scored, we have tried and then they have become strong and we have not been able to equalise.
"For me he (Jan Oblak) is the best in the world and he shows it in every game. Aleix had a spectacular strike, but then there is a goalkeeper who saves very well. I congratulate him, but we were screwed.
"We have three defeats and we have to change that now. Against Cádiz we will go with everything for the three points."
He has received an ovation from the home fans.
"I did not expect it. I love this support like my family. Now I have had to play against them, I defend Girona and I am very happy. I thank the Atleti fans for how they made me feel and wish them luck."
