Girona sports chief Quique Carcel has no doubts about the commitment of Aleix Garcia.
Before victory at Barcelona on Sunday, Garcia admitted ambitions of playing for the Blaugrana in the future.
But Carcel told RAC-1: "He told me he was staying."
He also said: "Being leaders of one of the most competitive leagues in the world and against rivals like Bara, Madrid or Atleti is something very nice.
"There is a lot of League left and we are not made to fight for a League championship.
"Right now I think it's too big a word to be real."
