Girona coach Michel is delighted his team is being recognised this season.
The Catalans spent time at the top of the LaLiga table this weekend before Barcelona's win against Celta Vigo.
Michel said, "The data is good but on matchday six for me it is not important. I prefer the data that says that during 2023, the team that has added the most points after Bara, Atltico and Madrid. That for me is regularity and an important fact.
"For me, being in the Champions League or first now... is not relevant."
He also said: "I have always said that I really enjoy my profession. I am in a place that has valued our I work from the first moment, that gives you confidence and security. I value what we are doing and my happiness is seeing my players how they play and how they execute what we tell them.
"That recognition from all the fans is gratifying."
