Manchester City right-back Yan Couto would be happy to remain in Spain for the long-term.
The 21-year-old has been with City since 2020, but he has barely featured for the Citizens.
He has gone out on loan on four separate occasions, while he has not made one competitive senior appearance.
"Obviously I have hopes and I think about my future," Couto, who is on loan at Girona, told Mundo Deportivo.
"I want to be at the highest level and I am very happy to be at Girona, but I also want to play in the Champions League, I don't know if here or at Manchester City, although I love Spain.
I see myself playing more in La Liga, but we have to see what options we can consider for next year (season)."
